Guest banderdragon Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) I was just chilling at a Walgreens waiting on a scrip. I was wandering around in the school supplies checking out the pens because i like them and i saw this so i figured what the heck. got 2 for 2.99. The eraser point is GREAT as a stylus. it is firm enough to work with our screen, they are not crumbly like a normal eraser and the pen writes OK too. Edited August 5, 2009 by banderdragon
Guest dna550 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) Soon after getting my Omnia I lost the very nice stylus that came with the phone. Assuming it would be expensive to replace, I ordered one from some mobile web site in Hong Kong. The cost was about $2.00 a piece, so I got two. They are arrived within seven days. They looked very much like the Samsung stylus, but just handling them for a minute they fell apart. They were useless. It was then I discovered that I really didn't need a stylus after all. I decided I just needed to get better at using the touch screen. Of course, with the original Verizon ROM, the Omnia touch screen could be a little frustrating to use. I was happy I no longer had a stylus dangling off the device, though. Months later I was playing golf and a question came up. I reached in my pocket to use the Omnia to do a Google Search. When I grabbed the Omnia out of my pocket I also grabbed a long golf tee. Eureka! A long Golf Tee turns out to be an ideal stylus. I now have plenty of golf tee styli an of course, there are times you need a stylus to use the tiny keypad. But now I never worry about having a stylus and I have a happy reminder of the golf course. Revelation number two: the little golf pencil they give you to record your score...yeah it is also a perfect stylus for the Omina. Happy Touch Screening! Edited August 5, 2009 by dna550
