Guest gottfroa Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 Maybe it's a stupid question, but I haven't found any solution for it yet. So why is it, that if I use the headphones, and I receive a call, the phone speaker rings, so the ring sound doesn't come from the headphone (although I can hear the caller from the headphone if I answer), but from the speaker ?? Is it designed to work this way, or is there a way to change this ? Thanks
Guest vbox Posted August 6, 2009 Report Posted August 6, 2009 You need to do some registry mod, to stop ringing from the speaker with headset plugged in. Find registry editor program and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring and change "Speaker" value from 1 to 2 (dec). Try if you find it more useful :)

Guest gottfroa Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Did you restart your phone after making the changes? yup, changed registry, waited 15-30 secs, restart, nothing changed about the ringing.
