Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Hi there, I had it running - but since the last hard reset I am not able to get All Explorer registred or better said it registers and when I try to start it it will going to register again - every time, no matter if I install it via desktop or cab.file. I've even tryed to deinstall active sync - with no sucess.... Can someone help me? Thanks a lot! Cheers, Lutz
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Are you trying the auto registation? as sometimes this does not work. Also for entering the code manually you have to obtain a new registration code as every time you hard reset, the last code you had ( your origional one ) will be invalid. Hope this helps
Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Hi buddy, the crux is, that I can go through the registering process and All Explorer tells me, it did register sucessfully - no matter if I do it automatically or by typing the code in with the keys. But when I start All Explorer then it asks for registering again - everytime! It suck, I've really tryed everything like hard reset, de-/installing activesync, installing All Explorer from desktop/by cab... Any ideas? Thank you! Cheers, Lutz
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Another thought and something I found. Did you buy the full product or are you using the demo? The demo version did this to me. Also are you aware that there is a 30 day time limit on the demo?
Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Hi, well, I always try to install the versions from my hd - is it possible for you to mail me your cab.file? Otherwise I'll try to download it again from the original place. Thanks so far, I'll come back if there's news on that issue. Cheers, Lutz

Cheers, Lutz Err no that would be piracy  ask again and you get a warning anyway your cab file will be ok and my version would be usless to you. You still have not said what version you have, is it the full one? when you buy the full one you get a confermation email with your reg code. when you hard reset like I said above you then need to to go back to the all-explorer site, fill in a simple question and they will send you via email your new registration code. without this code you will never unlock the app unless you do it illegaly.
Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Hey, I am not asking for any piracy or any thing like that. Like I said before - the registration process ends successful every time. But if I try to start the programm its asking for registration again. Seems like I'll need to ask All Locations for support! I just thought other people may have had the same problem. Thank you so far. Cheers, Lutz
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Ok about the piracy bit but NEVER ask for cab files on this site unless they are freeware. Sorry but it's my job to keep this site clean. Forget the registration part for the moment have you asked for another code? if you put an invalid code in you will go round in circles.
Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Hi, I understand your reasons, no doubt about that! I am just looking for that registration email I got - too much accounts here. I'll go for All Locations support now, since I've paid for the software... I'll come back if this problem is solved. Cheers, Lutz
Guest lutzh Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Ok, I've tried to install a trial of the programm right now - same result. Installation ok, automatic activation - ok. Starting programm - asks for registration. Manually registration - get the code - give it in to the spaces. Ok. Start programm - want's to be registered. I give up. Seems like I need to get my money back... Is there any alternative programm yet? Cheers, Lutz
Guest zenabi Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I had this problem with the trial version a while ago. I solved it by uninstalling it, power cycling (off then on) the phone and installing it again. It was fine after that. Also, try doing manual activation from the start (avoid the automatic one).
Guest all-locations Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Hi Lutzh, Could you please contact me on [email protected] with your product key and your activation code? You can find your activation code in the e-mail you received. You can find the product key the following way: - Start the ALL-explorer - Choose manual activation - You now see your product key. Kind Regards, Siep de Vries ALL-locations Support team
