problem with order of texts!! PLEASE HELP ME!

I need some help from the genius' on this forum. so yesterday out of the blue, whenever I receive a new text it will show up in the list of text messages that I have received, but it will show up second on the list below an older one that i have already read. sorry I know that is really confusing but i will try and make it easier to understand. so i have text messages that I have received from lets say 5 people, lets say all 5 sent me a text message, when i read one of the text messages it automatically falls below the ones that are not yet read.

well in my case this is no longer happening. I will have a brand new text that I have not read and it will show up below 2nd in line below one that is old and has already been read. I have tried soft resetting about 10 times and nothing, I have tried syncing with my comp (not that i thought that would do anything) and guess what... nothing. is there ANYONE out there that can help me. I know that it is not life threatening or anything but it IS SUPER annoying. Is there a Reg. Edit that I could have done or I COULD do to get the text message "count" back to normal

There's always back up your PIM and hard reset. :/

Hard resetting is very easy.
