Hi all,

I been googling this around for a few days now. I have an i900 with a cooked wm6.5 rom which seems to be working. However sometimes i wake up in the morning and i see my phone screen shows that someone is trying to call me. But the screen is frozen and i hear no sound when i press the end call button. I have to take the battery out and put it bck in again. The phone is completely locked. After the reboot i sometimes see 7 missed calls and it didnt ring even once because it jammed the first time.

A couple of times ive set an alarm (using g-alarm 2.2) and maybe 5-10 minutes before it goes off it jams so the alarm doesnt ring and I miss whatever appointment I had for that day and have to reinsert the battery.

Has anyone else had this problem? I love WM6.5 but this is really making me think twice about it all.

If you need to know i have: ACR, Office, SmartLock, Resco File Explorer and Contact Manager, CorePLayer, TCPMP, psShutDownXP, Pocket Islam, Pocket Rar, G-Alarm, Finger Keyboard, SK Tools, iGo 8, HTC MP3 Trimmer, and Opera installed.

Thanks for the help

EDIT: Before I forget, I should mention I have tried other ROMs too, This is my 6th one i think with a 6MB Page pool. Do you think i should try the 12MB one?

i've got the same thing going on, on a i910. tried multiple different roms. even with nothing installed i still get random lockups. reformatting the internal storage drive helped, but it still happens every once in a while. the only thing you and i have in common in terms of software is fingerkeyboard, so i suppose there's some remote chance that's it... but really, i'm chalking it up to 6.5. there's a reason it hasn't been released yet... i use SPB ms3 anyway, so it's not like i'd be losing a whole lot of functionality by going back to 6.1.

Im using the Sector and Khuanchai ROM (latest one). And I have a feeling its to do with 6.5 too and i was using Home 2 before so I suppose I wouldnt lose much either but id rather stick with 6.5 i like to keep things up to date. If anyone can provide a fix or atleast a source for the problem it would be appreciated.

I tried some WM 6.5 ROM (3 I think), but all of them always freeze sometime, especially when there's an SMS notification and I tap it right away after hearing sound, take 8 - 12 secs before back to normal so I'm back with WM 6.1

yep, exact same thing happened to me last night. i think you're right on the money about it being related to SMS.
