Guest Omi900 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 I have various wallpaper packs installed on my Omnia. When I view them directly through the Photo Slides app on the phone, the full image is visible on the screen. And they look fab. However, when I attempt to change the desktop background through SPB Mobile Shell ver 3. All the images become magnified meaning I can only see a portion of the actual image and not the full image. All my wallpapers are stored on my storage card. I would appreciate any help/advice on this matter. Regards.

You should set it at a specific pixel to be able to view it in SPB mobile shell 3. cant remember the size though.... but that's the solution. :) Found it!!! 960 X 748 pixels should be the size. Goodluck!!! ;) Edited August 10, 2009 by jonski89

Guest Omi900 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Can someone/anyone please, please, please explain how to change the pixel size on my installed wallpapers. I would be eternally grateful. I've spent hours on google, this forum and other nameless forums and I can't find what I need to do. Thanks in anticipation.
Guest Mothamoz Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 ah, so this is how you get your post count up? :)

Guest rfarrah Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 I'm requiring help with this thread. If you have nothing useful to say on the thread subject. Then please don't bother! I'll try: open your picture in whatever program you use on your pc and change the size there, then copy to your Omnia. I use MS Office Picture Manager. Some pics still won't look right, depending upon how they come out when you re-size. Good luck!

I will try this for sure. However, I have several hundred wallpapers on my phone that unfortunately weren't optimised for Mobile Shell 3 when I downloaded them. Or, more to the point, I didn't realise this. As I say I will try your method, but if I have to do this with each and every image, I will probably delete the wallpaper pack already on my phone and look for some that are properly sized for MS3. Thx again for your reply. Regards - Shaun
Guest ptmaniac Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) http://tinyurl.com/mrgfyc you don't need to resize the images one by one... there are lots of softwares that can do batch resizing... Edited August 12, 2009 by ptmaniac
