Guest kdkinc Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Hi guys, First post. I am looking for a good weather app that has a weather radar loop screen, all i can find are apps that have a forecast. Thanks Hi' I've tried LOTS of apps because I'm kind of a weather freak. The best that I found is actual a internet site, I use the mobile version . http://wap.wftv.com Once your on , get in the weather radar area. Using your zip code and save to favorites on your phone. They use Weather Wunderground as a source. Hope this helps with the Tropics heating up..... :)
Guest blazingwolf Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 (edited) Here's a nice one that was just made compatible with our device. It can work with TitaniumWeather or as a stand alone. It can also use GPS to get local radar to your location. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544094 Edited August 11, 2009 by blazingwolf

Guest cdash Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 I installed on my 910 (Omnia) and it wont run. Says something about requiring a new .net compact framework. I see the XDA site says that NETCF 3.5 or higher is required. I am sure I can search and find an update, but will updating this mess anything else up? Last time I tried I screwed something up and had to hard reset, and seems like a lot of work to get everything back to where I was before, so I want to check first this time. By the way, I am running the Verizon update ROM. Thanks!!

Guest fclifton Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 One of the xda posts indicates that there is no auto update feature. Can anyone confirm this is true or not?

Guest dwallersv Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 I'm a weather junkie, and the best I've found so far is WeatherPanel. It provides a very rich interface with lots of information, charts, graphs, radar, webcams, 10-day forecasts, and on and on. Skinnable too. Only negative IMO is it's a today plugin, which makes it a pain with UIs like M2D. Easily "integrated" with MS3 by putting the Today button on your Lifestyle Home screen.
Guest mikentammy610 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) Weatherpanel went defunct a month ago due to loss of links unless somebody revived it that I do not know about... EDIT.... WOW I SEE THEY BROUGT IT BACK FROM THE DEAD AGAIN.... Edited August 14, 2009 by mikentammy610
