Guest briwayjones Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 I thought that I had found somewhere how to set up a Omnia emulator on a PC that could be used for testing cooked ROMs. Now I can't find anything, anyone know anything about that?
Guest Unisoldrew Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 That would be waaaaaaaaaaay cool! Go find it!
Guest Tim-H Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 As far as I'm aware, this does not exist. If you find one, post up please.
Guest ionfist Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 There is something: http://www.samsung-omnia.org/software-deve...a-sdk/msg24487/ http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/ I am sure you will find something here.
Guest pacman9889 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 that really looks promising, but I don't know enough about sdk's to make any use of it, anyone else want to look into this?

Either the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment or the Windows Mobile SDK (Software Development Kit) includes the base emulator engine. The Samsung SDK has customizations that make it look/act like an Omnia. They do this so you can write programs for these devices without actually having to have them. Visual Studio is quite expensive, around $600. PErsonally, I "pseudo-emulate" using My Mobiler :D
Guest adhip Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 My Mobiler is like a remote desktop for WM which is not an emulator, what do you mean by 'pseudo-emulator' ?
