Battery Status Icon not changing ?

Since a couple of days, I noticed a strangeness in regards with

accuracy of battery status icon from my I900's taskbar:

My battery status icon is not updated anymore in taskbar

when I charge my I900.

If phone is plugged on external power and I reboot my phone,

battery jauge icon stay with status "plugged-out external power" and

does not switch back as battery jauge....

Any clue of what's happening ? Hard reset time ? Corrupted dll ?

Time for a new cell ?
