Guest Omniamon Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 My screen has gone funny and won't let me calibrate. The phone is nigh on unusable now. My question is do I have to flash it back to the original ROM or can I leave my cooked Win 6.5 one on there ? A friend was telling me my warranty may be invalidated by doing so ?
Guest bpivk Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 A friend was telling me my warranty may be invalidated by doing so ?It depends on the service center. Some will test the phone and repair it if it's faulty and some will look for excuses (cooked rom) just so they don't have to repair it. I would flash it to be on the safe side.

Personally with all things that go back to the factory you want them in the same condition that you got it, if not then its not their fault but the fault of the user that broke the item. So if you can go back to the original software, it will make your life allot better. -AkWingnut
