Guest Juliano.net Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Where can I download the latest version of Omnia's original ROM (WM6.1)? I've installed a WM6.5 ROM but some apps are not working (the Today screen is not able to add other apps and when I try to open any office app it gives me an error), so I'd like to go back.

Guest Juliano.net Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 The problem is, when I'm at the Today screen and go to the Add Applications option, it gives me the error "The file 'App1' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.". The close button doesn't look good as the other visual elements and CComm also didn't work. If you have any suggestions to fix these problems, I'll try to stay with WM6.5. If not, I'd like to install the original Omnia's ROM (with 6.1). Do you have it?

Guest Juliano.net Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 The ROM that came with my Omnia was the carrier's ROM (Vivo). The current ROM is a WM6.5 based ROM and the updater don't allow this "downgrade".

The current ROM is a WM6.5 based ROM and the updater don't allow this "downgrade".
English: I've found in another website a ROM that people says that is from Vivo (Brazilian carrier), but the file has the IMG extension. How can I apply this ROM to my Omnia?
