Ringer do not applies to contact. Personal ringer not working

Dear fellow androids,

I was an Iphonist tired of apple's close enviroment who deiceded to switch to android. I liked the hero and the galaxy, fially I decided to buy htc's phone because at the time I thought it might had a better UI, write keyboard and other stuff. Maybe was the wrong choice.

The sense ui it's orrible, a real pain in the a**. It is slow, unprecises and laggy. And what about all those widget, sms, mail etc... I do not get the meaning of building programs that the hardware can't play right...

Anyway I did a bit of costumization, I dump TouchFLO for open home, much better, 5 screen, no lag... I just miss the picture widget.

The big issue I discovered is that even if you apply personal ringer to contact, when the contact calls you, seldom the default ringer start insted od the personal one.

This thing it's gettin me crazy, I go in motorbike and i need to know whose calling me without risking my life every time chenking the display...

HTC support told me that it's a wide problem (?) and they are working on a fix....

I just can't wait and maybe I have little trust over htc tech... who produced Rosie

There is something else I can do?

Will the patch help my problem?

Please somebody lend me a hand here.... I am drowning
