phone wakes up to receive sms but doesn't

okay so my omnia seems to light up to receive an sms but then just nothing happens.. lol - I don't know how but I just know that it's random wakeup is because it's trying to receive an sms. I think i found the problem happens when I have an sms thread that is way too populated. Upon deletion of the thread though I still don't receive these sms' that aren't being accepted by the omnia. I cleared my whole inbox today and my omnia did i again though so now i'm starting to think its not koz of the threading?

I've noticed the same problem too. I think that it decides to light up where there's a change of signal/reception or whatever from your phone carrier. Perhaps you should ask someone to send you an sms and see if you can receive it. I always have my phone lock on awakening which is handy to avoid miscalling someone in your pocket for 16 minutes :D
