Guest kav Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 its already been 6 months since samsung released their last official rom for the i900, since then there have been circulating some other roms like DXID1, now DXIF1 etc, just like the same situation was before the release of the DXIA5, there were some DX** going around. the thing is i was hoping samsung would release a new rom by now, like they have done almost every 2 or 3 months before the DXIA5 release, but since their new toys came out, the omnia II, omnia HD etc.. i think they have totally dropped the i900 omnia. should we expect them to give out other roms or is it just game over for the omnia? because then a lot of people, if not all of us will rather jump to custom roms in order to keep up, but then again this would void the warranty on the omnia.
Guest finaldestiny Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I wouldn't expect support to continue with future rom updates. My best suggestion to you is to jump on the custom roms bandwagon.
Guest ink nero Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 I think that omnia lite could be a dope (ehm... a hope) for our omnia
Guest FutureDirt Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 doubt there will be any more official rom updates tbh. There is a very small chance that if there is another ROM update it will be a wm6.5 ROM (after it officially gets released)
