Guest romka99 Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 Hi, Just wondering in anyone else experienced this. I replaced the screen digitizer and it's working amazingly well(!!), but I feel like the phone reception is now weaker.. is it possible that there's interference of some soft from the new digitizer? many thanks..
Guest Evi1d33d Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) The only thing I can think of is that the old digitizer was acting like some kind of antenna. Edited August 20, 2009 by Evi1d33d
Guest ptmaniac Posted August 20, 2009 Report Posted August 20, 2009 if i remember correctly when i changed my digitizer i had to disconnect the antenna cable (small black wire on the left side), make sure you reconnected it properly, maybe that's what causing the problem.

Don't mean to be a downer but enjoy the sensitivity while it lasts a lot of people who have replaced their touch screens have noticed it become less responsive after a month or so, if yours is different please let us know. And chances are if you're antennae wasn't properly attached you wouldn't be getting much of a signal anywhere unless you work under a cellphone tower.
Guest RobMac92 Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I replaced my digitizer about 3 months ago and by the end of last month it was as bad as it had been before :D Shame, but do enjoy it while you can.
