any way to send all the sounds of the omnia to the bluetooth headset when connected?

i was wandering if there is a way to send all the sounds to the bluetooth handsfree whn it is connected to the omnia, like for example when i use skype on the omnia, i cant get the sound to the handsfree unless i connect it via cable, and i hae a bluetooth handsfree which i would like to use while calling on skype for example, but it would be nice if it could send all the sounds to the bluetooth handsfree, well except for the system sounds and the ringtones.

also is there a way to make the sounds on the bluetooth better by using r2vs? i saw it somewhere here but i think it applies to win mo 6.5 registry entries.

I just know the way to play all sounds with your PC when connected. I tested with a Laptop connected to a surround system and as connected all sounds from my omnia were played over the surround sys, quite nice but i dont know whether it goes with bluetooth headsets. i just connected with the pc, went to my devices in bluetooth menu, tap&hold on the pc and chose "Use as Headset" or somethign like that.

I did some investigating in an attempt to solve the same problem last week.

I found this: BTAudio Utilities.

BTAudio Utilities

It worked for me on my i910 however some people would complain about hearing an echo so YMMV.

I also tried Nimbuzz. Nimbuzz has a bluetooth headset out ability when placing Skype calls. That option was working fine for me until it randomly disappeared.

You could also try audioRoute. I had this working initially but then it stopped. Not sure why.

I think a lot of it has to do with the headset. My omnia automatically sends all sounds to my headset when paired, including system sounds, alarms, call notifications, etc. I didn't have to change any settings or do anything other than pair them.

same for me. i have a moto HT820 stereo bluetooth headset. when paired, both "handsfree" and "stereo headset" profiles are set automatically, all sounds go to headset, and it changes between the 2 profiles automatically, so when listening to music its on stereo and when a calls comes in it will switch to handsfree when i answer it. do you have a regular ol bluetooth earpiece, or stereo headset? it may be that only the stereo headset profile sends all sounds while the handsfree one only works for phone calls. never used a regular bt earpiece so idk.

Simple answer: A2DP.

If your headset supports the A2DP profile, all audio will be sent to the headset when connected. If you have a simpler mono headset that only supports the Headset and/or Handfree profiles, you'll only get audio for phone calls.
