Need to stop program from autoclosing in wm6.5

Sorry if this has been asked before, but when I tried to do a search, all I could find was a bunch of unrelated posts.

I recently found a good push email program called emoze. When it is open it works great. however, when I open another program it closes, and I stop getting email. Is there any way to keep this from happening? I am currently running [6.5 ROM] blazingwolf Night v1.4. It has htc task manager on it so I tried adding emoze to the exclusive list, but all that does is keep it from showing up in the other task manager. I heard that there was a registry edit that you could do in 6.1 to keep apps from terminating, but don't even know where to start looking. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
