Sms not displaying newest message first

Hi, Im sure I remember seeing a thread someone started with this problem but I cant find it.

When I open the default windows sms message program my newest text appears second in the list rather than first, it only started happening a few days ago. Any ideas?

is the time correct on the SMS? i had a similar issue where messages i received were before messages i sent due to a time zone issue, i would send one at say 4pm, receive one a minute later but the time would be a few hours behind on it, even though it was just sent/received. if this is the issue, change your time settings to the "visiting" time zone (somewhere with a few hours difference,) restart your phone, and then change it back. should be all set then.

if its just sorting them incorrectly, try changing the sorting to something else, and then changing it back.

Thanks for the reply, all the times are correct, ill try and explain what happens.

Say i have 5 texts on the phone in chronological order 1 being newest.

If i then receive a new text it appears as number 2

If I delete no. 1 all looks normal.

Then when I next receive another new text it appears again as no.2 and old no.2 jumps to no.1

So frustrating.

Just tried changing the sorting a few times and looks like all is normal again thanks for that!
