Keyboard Lag Work-Around Solution

I seen this in another post so I cannot take credit nor can I remember where I seen it, but this "work-around" solution has solved the keyboard lag for me.

Enable FtouchSL, but disable all options, including kinetic scrolling. Place a copy of ftouchsl.exe in the start-up folder so you do not have to re-enable after soft-resets. I can type as fast as I can tap on the Samsung Keyboard after doing this.

PS- disabling the scrolling in FtouchSL leaves the smooth scrolling of these cooked roms unchanged.

This solution along with the Touch Response solution breaks kinetic scrolling. I think I prefer the slow typing and kinetic scrolling, as opposed to fast typing and the clicky scrolling in contacts.

I am using the Touch Response fix and the kinetic scrolling is not broken
