.NETCF 3.5 and GPS

Hi,

I have recently cooked a ROM with FlashLite 3.1 and .NETCF 3.5...

and recently discovered that I can not use two apps with the same

COM port for GPS guidance...

Before flashing, when using the official DXID1 I was able to have

Garmin XT City Navigator 5.00.20 and iGO 8.3.2 working with the

same COM port...but now I have to manually select a port that has

been set in each application...

Is this possibly because of the .NETCF 3.5?? It is the only thing that

comes to my mind while thinking about this issue...

No big problem..it would just be easier if this can be somehow fixes

so that I don't have to change the COM port each time I run a

different app...

(my program port is COM 5...and hardware port is COM 9...when I

enter Garmin I use the COM 5 port vi intermediate driver in Grmin,

and before I start iGO I have to manually change the program COM

port to 3...which is preset in iGO to work normally...)

Anyone has any info??

Try Port Splitter, may be it can help you out. Just google it, it's freeware.
