Guest snapz54 Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 (edited) To all the cooks out there, I had an idea and I'm in no position to attempt it so I thought I'd present the idea to the professionals and see if anyone wanted to give it a shot... HTC's apps are sleeker, more finger friendly, and more functional then most samsung, winmo, etc. apps. I was wondering if anyone could attempt an HTC "themed" titanium paneled rom. I know flotanium is out and that's great but I'm talking winmo 6.5 look, with HTC functionality? ideas were: -If it's possible, changing the system fonts or at least the pluginlabel's for the panels to an HTC font -a working AudioManager panel -htc album panel, with a softkey to set current picture as background? -titanium weather with htc weather icons -an HTC skinned dialer -maybe touchflo 2 or 3d icons for the icons for panels -attempt a google maps panel... I don't know how this would work though -htc comm manager cooked in -youtube as a soft key in an opera panel -wqvga htc calculator -htc emulator cooked in -htc GPSQuick fix -htc skinned keyboard? -htc task manager cooked in I really admire what you all do, this is just an idea to throw out there in case anyone wanted to attempt it. I know it's a lot of work, maybe since you all do great roms individually this could be something like a dream team rom where you guys all go in on it? Tech could do the skinning, Bgill the technical stuff, Hart's really clean looking start menu etc. well bgill, hart, wolf, tech, adryn, mr. capcom, what say you? Edited August 24, 2009 by snapz54
Guest snapz54 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 is this even possible or are too many of the things currently not figured out? Is there any way to have a search box for google maps or youtube on the homepage inside a panel?

Do you want to icon hunt? -attempt a google maps panel... I don't know how this would work though I am not the right person to ask for this. -htc comm manager cooked in Already been done but the data disconnect and connect is not working in the Topaz Comm Manager. -youtube as a soft key in an opera panel That should be doable by you using CHome Editor. -wqvga htc calculator I've seen one on XDA. -htc emulator cooked in Sorry, this is? -htc GPSQuick fix Adrynalyne made one of these for us though it never helped me. -htc skinned keyboard? There is one that megapinky converted to WQVGA. -htc task manager cooked in That's in most ROMs already.
