EndKey CAB for CF03 Windows 6.1 Verizon image?

Hi,

Firstly, I really don't have the skills to do any of this myself, so I will ask if anyone would be able to create a CAB. I have been using ROMs from 6.5 and using the basic CF03 update from Verizon. I have always LOVED that you can end a data call on a 6.5 ROM by holding the endkey, something that was nerfed by Verizon on their image. Is it possible to create a CAB that will give this functionality on the basic 6.1 CF03 image? I have tried the time out hacks in registry and have not been satisfied with their performance.

I use VJOkButt with the "-phone" command line optional parameter, mapped to the Endkey button using AE Button Plus. It works like a charm...

I am on the basic Omnia CF03 firmware and the end key works for me. Is this a problem with a cooked ROM? or is it caused by other packages.

I do have S2U2 and spb mobile shell but that should not be a factor in it working.

Unless I'm mistaken, you can change the button settings through the "Buttons" control panel setting. Simply switch to the End Key tab and change config to "End data calls" instead of "lock device." Of course, I could be mistaken..

I have looked at this setting also, its not there in the basic Verizon image, it only shows up in a 6.5 ROM. The Verizon image only allows one to end a voice call.
