Guest garyfinny Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 I am getting the 'critical' storage memory issue on a regular basis now, and nothing I seem to do has an effect on it! I have Memaid and although on occasion it says it is cleaning the memory, these gains are not seen on the Settings>Memory Screen, which says I have only 0.5MB free. I have already moved the cache for Opera, and also edited the registry. I thought I would disable the Samsung dialer, as it would save 10MB. I did, but no effect on memory. In a vain attempt to get some memory back, I thought I would use a tip I found on another forum and overwrite some of the pre-packaged sounds in the \Windows directory with smaller equivalents, which would save me some space. But the memory still says the same, 0.50MB (or less) free! Am I looking in the wrong folders or something or is my phone set up wrongly?
Guest Raul6 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 it sounds like you have a lot of apps installed. it all takes up space
