HTC Calendar Widget

This isn't so much a bug, but just something that is annoying me a little and I was wondering if anybody has had the same issue.

I have set up the calendar so that is pulls through my google calendar events, which will also pull down any events of my friends.

That is great for the actual calendar application itself, but it will also pull my friends events through to the widget. My main problem is that I use the calendar bar style (style 2 of 2) which only pulls through one event at a time, which sometimes means that my friends events will be on there rather than my own.

I have change the settings in the calendar application to pull through only my events, which will then only pull them on to the widget, but in an ideal world is there anyway to pull all events through to the main applicaiton, and only my own to the widget?
