I'm new too. I would think you can revert to your original ROM, assuming of course you made a nandroid backup first :D

Sorry but didnt make back up.. didnt know how 2. everyone mentions alt and s buttons but you dont have them on hero/g2... i have an image off someone else of nandroid though

You can use the modified recovery image (linked in this forum) to install the standard T-Mo image (linked in this forum) then you'll be back to unrooted stock! :D

Sorry but i tried to do alsorts..i not sure what to do. i get lost on the instructions. on some things. ive seen the tmob roms and radio roms but update wont work on sd card.

Download and install the T-Mobile ROM 1.76.110.6 from here http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-hero...ate-zip-format/ [i'm assuming your phone is on the T-Mobile network???]. You should then have a virgin phone again, so you will have to install your apps and settings all-over. This is why it's so important to make a backup - Good Luck
