Guest awarner (MVP) Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Resco Photo Viewer above is a 7 day trial. After that it's $24.95
Guest dovellas Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Resco Photo Viewer above is a 7 day trial. After that it's $24.95 But this is alpha version?
Guest syrguy1969 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 This looks very interesting, does it have a web site that supports/explains it? I would like to read more about it. Not really sure what would be 'similar' in the music range, but S2P is pretty good. G-sensor support....yes Touch friendlyness....yes The folder shows the preview of the pictures inside it....within the app if set-up correctly yes Thumbnail and list view and multiselection operations....same as above Leaving out the points you posted that don't apply to music, it seems to hit on a few, and A_C is always developing it further, we are on the verge of what he is calling an even better, easier to use version!! Here is his site: http://www.ac-s2.com/

Guest syrguy1969 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 downloaded and think its really neat ... but didnt realise A_C is in the process of improving his!!! will wait for that .... GG He is always working on them, you would be amazed how each of his apps have changed/developed through the years. Just when you think it couldn't get any better, he makes a change that you wind up wondering how you lived without it LOL!!! Thanks awarner for the info...this app looks cool, but I will stick with the free app (S2V...from same site I posted) for now, it isn't perfect yet, but as I mentioned...A_C is working on that one as well!!
Guest dovellas Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Excuse me OT. Gmail in italy is not avaiable , who can post me .cab for WinMo?

Just when you think it couldn't get any better, he makes a change that you wind up wondering how you lived without it LOL!!! oh i know I've been following and updated since day dot. but S2V hasnt been updated since sept 2008 ... any idea when the update is due? GG
Guest syrguy1969 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 but S2V hasnt been updated since sept 2008 ... any idea when the update is due? GG Wish I knew. He hasn't posted anything on the WIP page, but if you use S2U2, you know the latest version included a settings section for wallpaper, and it is basically a mini-version of S2V that if released as S2V will be mind-blowing, it is fantastic!!!
Guest dopeness Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 I downloaded this and this thing is sweet. Very fluid and I really like the enhancements. Can't wait to see the finished prospect.
Guest jason07 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Wow this is awesome. I never even bothered with Resco viewer because the screenshots on their website shows an old style app, with tiny buttons down the bottom (think Total Commander). But this new one is great! One question; that button that says feature not available yet... any idea what it's planned for?
Guest Koofteh Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 How are the picture loading times? Quicker than PocketCM ImageViewer?

Guest Broda Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) This is the new Resco Photo Album, but still in Beta/ALPHA yet You can download here :D http://www.resco.net/forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=26607 Edited August 27, 2009 by Broda
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) This is absolutely MIND BLOWING!!! It`s nothing like S2V or HTC Album or all of the other "crap"! You should really try it :D I don`t like only 1 thing: while the picture is zoomed, navigating through it is not finished - you can move only vertical and horizontal, not diagonal, but this is still alpha version and still it`s better than everything out there  Edited August 27, 2009 by maf107ezk0
Guest naynada Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 How are the picture loading times? Quicker than PocketCM ImageViewer? Much quicker! And unlike PCM, it hasn't crashed on me yet. :D Brilliant app!
Guest Sea-Breeze Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 great also the cracks are all over the net !
Guest maks pain Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 before this i stuck with Samsung media album because of its comprehensive function (can delete, rename, copy, browse folder & easy to zoom) but performance really sucks.. luckily u guys recommend this app. Now i'm using this as my default photo viewer even though it is still alpha version.. Media Album removed :D
Guest dwallersv Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Very nice! This is what I've been looking for. Like you, I've been living with Media Album because I couldn't find anything else that had all the basic features I wanted except MA. However, it's not finger friendly at all. I eagerly wait for them to finish all the functionality and get it released... I'll buy it!
Guest Koofteh Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 This is really nice indeed... but does anyone know how to change the path of the 'camera roll' to where my photos are actually saved?
Guest elliotboney Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 This is really nice indeed... but does anyone know how to change the path of the 'camera roll' to where my photos are actually saved? It is located in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser1:CameraDir HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser2:CameraDir HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser3:CameraDir Change either one of those!
Guest Koofteh Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 It is located in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser1:CameraDir HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser2:CameraDir HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Resco\PhotoViewer\Browser3:CameraDir Change either one of those! Awesome, thanks!
Guest jmoore42942 Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 Awesome photo viewer. Only complaint (and I know it's still alpha and far from finished) is that in my camera roll folder, it shows 2 of every picture. So instead of the 8 pics that I have in that folder, Resco shows 16. No big deal though.
