Guest dmcnado Posted October 9, 2009 Report Posted October 9, 2009 @airreak Got inspired by your stuff, both here & on omniaroms. So far, I've figured out how to deal w/ the arrows and the buttons on the bottom bar. Even changed some colors! Now on to the lock screen! Will be cooking this stuff in my next rom. :) Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work & contribution to the omnia community!
Guest airreak Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thank you very much it is always nice to hear when someone likes my work. I can't wait to see what you turn out. Have fun
Guest gejenn Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thank you very much it is always nice to hear when someone likes my work. I can't wait to see what you turn out. Have fun Great work AIRREAK!!!! Ive been using the Superman lock scene with my SPB Shell 3.5 (Superman theme logo Background) I really like it a lot!! How about a request for a Batman lock scene ? thanks in advance !!!! keep up the good work!
Guest dmcnado Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 @airreak Need your button/theme expertise... my new buttons were a little big (I thought) for my commandbar (the one on the bottom). So I started editing them. Went from 35x35 down to 31x31 in small increments, testing them on my omnia. But the change in size does not appear to have made any difference (even after soft reset). It's almost as if the commandbar is shrinking w/ the buttons! (maybe my imagination?) Am I missing anything here? Also, do you know how to modify/edit the commandbar itself (e.g., change the color, transparency or size)? What controls this stuff? Maybe I should start making themes! Thanks in advance.
Guest airreak Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 well the buttons are actually resized a little by WM 6.5, the stock buttons are 34x34 in the new builds so that is what you will get no matter what you size them to. Now you can trick WM by making the alpha layer 34x34 and making the button smaller on top of the alpha. I hope you understand that. I think the other images you want to look for involve the softkeybar. Have fun playing, I can't wait to see.
Guest Diggedy Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 mate these are good, being a gamer I love the quake ones. As a couple of suggestions, how about some halo ones (my favourite games) or suzuki ones (im a keen biker :))

Do you know the file name, etc.? (2) And yes, I am also wanting to edit the softkeybar, but I don't understand how that is working and which file(s) to edit. Hoping you can shed some light on both of these. Thanks, airreak!
Guest airreak Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 diggedy I will see what I can come up with dmc What program are you using to edit? The alpha layer isn't a separate image it is the clear part behind the buttons you need to make a new clear layer and scale the buttons down, then merge the two layers into one. The soft key bar appears to be 1 small image that is stretched to fit the width. Each theme has a different version of the softkey bar like classicblue_softkeybar.png Hope this helps
Guest dmcnado Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) @airreak I have been using photoshop to edit. So, if I understand you correctly, I should make a clear/transparent button that is 34x34, then scale my actual buttons down to something slightly smaller (say 32). The colored button will be in a layer on top of the clear button, then I should flatten the image and then upload to my phone. Conceptually, that makes sense. I'll try it tomorrow. In the meantime, I've been experimenting with the lockscreen stuff. EDIT: The trick w/ the layers works great! Now my buttons fit perfectly on the softkeybar (they no longer stick out over the edge). The only thing I had to do differently from what I described above was to use the "merge visible" command instead of the "flatten" command. I did find the softkeybar png file and played w/ it some by changing the color. But I like the old color better and also the transparency wasn't working, so I reverted back. Thanks a bunch airreak! Guest compnird Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) you need to try the lockscene CPR http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...le-6-5-goodies/ Update, After reading the above information several time and some time I found the CPR files and can look at them. I think that with some time and effort I can figure out what I need to do... Is there not a repository of CPR files out there anywhere? I can't be the only one who wants to do this... If someone already has a "CPR" (or instructions) for placing the time on top, slide to unlock on bottom and making sure that next calendar appointment shows in the middle, that would be awesome! I took the CPR file out of Lioryte's Base ROM and copied them into the current setup which is Storm's 2.3 version for i910 and it accomplished my needs. The CPR file is attached for those who want to do the same. BottomSlide.zip
Guest airreak Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 sorry I rearranged my post and forgot to put the CPRs back up, glad you found one
