Guest cerberez Posted September 1, 2009 Report Posted September 1, 2009 I've decided to finally take the plunge and try flash the ROM on my Verizon i910 (currently loaded with the official CF03). . . I'm incredibly impressed by what the community has accomplished, and I'd like to ask for a little help. Here's what I'm looking for, in order of priority (highest to lowest). #1: GPS functionality. Is there a ROM that has aGPS working "right out of the box?" I love geocaching, and my current setup takes 5 minutes to get a lock. #2: Stability. I've been having to do a bunch of soft resets lately, and I would rather have less of that. #3: Snappy performance/quick load times. Thank you so very very much! -Ezra

Now to answer your question, Once you flash to CF03 the GPS works right out of the box. So no matter what rom you choose for it. It should always work ( Unless the rom is a beta ) It comes down to what you prefer. There are several talented ROM Cookers here in this forum. You should just test all of them and see which one fits you best.. Remember to back up all info before you flash. And as usual If you brick your phone, Its not anyones fault but your own. But most of the instructions are plain as day so you should be OK.. Hope this helps :-)
Guest necosino Posted September 1, 2009 Report Posted September 1, 2009 No need to search. My CF03 update guide is stickied ;-)
Guest cerberez Posted September 1, 2009 Report Posted September 1, 2009 No need to search. My CF03 update guide is stickied ;-) See, I already flashed to CF03. . . The GPS actually works pretty well, it just takes longer than I'd like. I'm particularly curious about aGPS. What the heck, I'll just try one of these ROMs.
Guest 70blzr Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 stability also depends on which programs you install after rom install, although most should work. just take the time to read thru the post if you do run into problems.
Guest zfly9 Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 My way of searching for a rom is to scroll down and see how many bugs it has, and how many fixes it has... I usually avoid the Roms that have all that..
