manila 2.6 porting

Hello,

I have had manila 2.0 on my phone for a while now(thanks sector) and saw that 2.6 has been made into a skin now for qvga only.

Have tried it on my omnia and it obviously doesn't work. (thought I'd give it a shot though)

Anyone have the ability to port this to wqvga form?

i think u need to wear specs its M2D v1.01, TS posted is just a skin

I am wearing my specs, blind without them actually. i just want the aesthetics of 2.6-sense-like clock and other variances.

This is Mbarvian's 1.01 version of the skin. not sure what you are saying i guess.

Just want to overlay this 2.6 skin on to my existing m2d. be it versions 19b, 21,22,or the current 2.0 skin by sector.

any more insight?

It's just a skin, not Manila 2.6. I believe the graphics must be customize to fit Omnia first, while "howto install" is in that page.

Some of the Ver 1 skins work on Ver2.

You can change to one of the diamond black skins with M2DC and get a fairly similar skin to the one you want.

When you apply the skin and the 2 checkboxes come up tell it to keep the tab bar icons from the original skin.

As far as I am aware the short answer is no.

Something to do with the omnia not having a good enough 3d chip or something technical like that.

Unfortunately we have to roll with M2D at this stage.

Omnia can never have the Touch Flo 3D at this moment. Too much topics around this topic :) I would love to have the TF 3D, my next phone would be a HTC because of the TF 3D. Anyway, it is not possible at the moment, so Manila 2D is all we can get. End of discussion.
