Guest Piemole Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 I don't think anyone has asked this yet, I appologize if it has. (I did do a search :D) Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to set up the Windows Mobile Emulator for my PC? I want to be able to test new ROM's before I flash them to make sure I want to use them. I am sick of flashing to new ROM's and then going straight back after a couple of hours. I am running Windows 7 atm but I can also run XP if need be. I have looked at the M$ site at the download pages but they tend to make thing quite confusing for people who arn't completely fluent with their software. Thanks in advance Piemole.
Guest Zealster Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 (edited) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en That's the latest version of Windows Mobile Device Emulator.. I think. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en Those are some stock ROMs that have no customization on them whatsoever. Personally, I hated the Device Emulator. You have to run it via command prompt and change a whole bunch of command lines before starting the emulator to actually get an Omnia experience (hardware emulation). http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/platfor...do?platformId=2 Here is the links to the Samsung SDK (Apparently Samsung has just released TouchWiz SDK as well) Here's the TouchWiz SDK Link: http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/platfor...o?platformId=12 I'm not sure if anyone knew it was released! Maybe we'll start seeing some new widgets appear for new ROMs or for download! Edited September 2, 2009 by Zealster
