Guest SC5 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 (edited) So I've been kind of a victim of poor research because I got an Omnia i910 in Canada with Telus (on the CDMA network) and I thought I could run all the Symbian OS apps on it I wanted, I didnt realize it had Windows Mobile on it and that I couldnt install Symbian on it or something... But anyway, I got this phone to play emulated games, pure and simple, could anyone tell me if, without a shadow of a doubt, a i910 with Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 can run these emulators with decent performance for most non-action games (so mostly point and click adventure games, puzzle games and RPGs): A dos emulator (DOSBox) ScummVM NES emulator GBA emulator SNES emulator Playstation emulator I know I should be doing my own research and not bothering you guys but I'm on a tight schedule and I only have a few days to return this phone. Thanks a lot in advance and if anyone could link me to some resources/instructions on how to get any emulators running, I'd be very greatful. Edited September 2, 2009 by SC5
Guest necosino Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 I use a bluetooth gamepad (costs like $20 on ebay) and use emulators for all the above platforms (except scummv and DOS, because I don't use them, lol).
Guest SC5 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks a lot, Does anyone know if I can run DOSBOX or ScummVM? Those were my most important ones.
Guest metman87 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 ScummVM runs fine on my i910. DOTT and The Dig play pretty much the same as they would on your computer.
