Guest Dragonsla Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) I just got the omnia i910 and I cannot find the option to turn off the 3 fast beeps that beep every 10 minutes when my battery is low! I have the sound on vibrate only and have searched all the options! Also a streaming player did not come on the phone....when could I get one? I already have utube play and TVU Player. Another thing is I set the settings to notify me when I get a text message via vibrate and that is not happening (I have sounds for programs and notifications off) If anyone can help me with anything I would really love it! Thanks! -Dan Edited September 3, 2009 by Dragonsla
Guest meabigbaldguy Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 Have you considered perhaps changing to a custom ROM from the i910 section of the forum?
Guest Dragonsla Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I dont know how to do ROMs, and I thought the i910 didn't support it.... Regardless, shouldn't there be options to turn off the low batt beep, and turn on txt viberation/tone?

Guest TheDrizzle Posted September 7, 2009 Report Posted September 7, 2009 (edited) I have read a few threads on this topic, and I think the only way to stop that beep is to overwrite the wav file with an empty/blank one in the windows folder. It is guessed that the "low battery warning" notification is built into the battery driver for the i910, so there is no way to disable it. It is a stupid decision, as it will beep even if the phone is set to silent. You can try some of the methods outlined in this post: http://www.careace.net/2009/04/22/low-batt...zon-omnia-i910/ This post describes how to fix a "20%" and "40%" warning. I'm now sure if both are necessary or only the 20% fix. Or search around, I know there have been other threads about this. Edited September 7, 2009 by TheDrizzle
Guest Dragonsla Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 (edited) Solution thanks to b !!! Try this:Go to Shortcuts, then Settings, then Sounds and Notifications. Then on first screen- Sounds you must put check mark on Programs and Notifications. If those aren't checked phone won't vibrate, but once they are, works perfectly.
