Guest kjclark62 Posted September 3, 2009 Report Posted September 3, 2009 Hello All, I'm new to the winmo world and just picked up a t-mobile tp2... Love it, problem I'm having is that I'm right on the edge of the t-mobile world and depending on the weather, I may or not be able to make a clean call (data is sketchy as well). I'm looking for a good signal booster. I have one of those passive sticky things, rarely helpful, but would like to get something that will boost my cell and data signal sufficiently to really benefit from some of the features - for example the Internet sharing app - works great in town, but not at the house - could be very useful for me to cancel my BB subscription with Verizon and use for my laptop instead. So, the question is what are the good signal boosters that work and can be used for mobile (car) as well? Any Ideas? Thanks - (I'm the newbie) kjclark
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 There are a few options and various reviews on the internet for boosters ranging from $60 to a few hundred dollars. For example Amazon have a few and price depends on the are you want covered, so if it's a desk sized area then the cheap unit or for the whole house then you need to pay a bit more. Personally I've not used a booster so I can only advice you read as many reviews as possible from users and sites like cnet.com
