Hi I bought 2 i900's on what I thought was a business contract about 8 months ago. Mine works fine but my wife’s will not keep a signal, only started doing this 4 weeks ago. If we are stood within 500m of a mast it works fine over that the signal is lost. Phoned up my provider to get it replaced and low and behold although imp a business user I’m on a plan that does not include insurance, but that’s an argument for another day.

Sent it off to Samsung for repair as it’s under warranty and it came back with BER 'beyond economical repair' and a nice little photo of water damage.

I know everybody denies dropping down the toilet and using it in the rain but this time it is true.

So I stripped it down and had a look.

The pba main has what looks like a watch battery fixed to it and all the corrosion was just around this area. I have noticed that when I use my phone for the net this area becomes extremely hot. Hot part cold air = condensation.

So I’m stuck with an i900 that works perfect apart from the signal.

Does anybody know where I can get a pba main for this phone because Samsung say they don’t sell them to the public. I’m a UK resident
