How to disable TXT9

Hi Gurus,

First of all I just want to apologize if there is a existing topic regarding this. I tried to check but haven't been successful. I just want to know on how to disable the TXT9 capabilities on the samsung phonepad on the DXID1_23034_Athena_NeoOrginal_v1 rom. Advance thank you to those who can help me with this. :)

Not sure about that particular ROM but you should be able to go to Start/Settings/Input and turn off everything under the Word Completion tab and then go into options directly under the selected keyboard and turn all of that off. Then on the keyboard itself toggle the XT9 to abc.

Hi thanks for the reply but I already tried that procedure but still the XT9 is still active.. is there a need to edit the registry or is there a cab file that will permanently remove this feature..
