App Market Purchases

I last night upgraded to the rooted HTC Generic 2.73.405.5 ROM (found here) and so far everything has been fine and working very smoothly.

Only thing I don't seem to be able to do is purchase applications from the app market, i just get a server error after the card details page, anyone else suffering with this or know of a way to resolve it or is it just do to Google messing with the app market with the new version??

Add Google Checkout to your Google account, then you don't need to enter card details every time when purchasing on the Market.

Several people are reporting problems when trying to purchase without a Checkout account.

After taking your advice and signing up for a checkout account, purchases from the market work perfectly.
