Guest bf69 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Hello all, I really enjoy my Omnia, but recently I started getting a very weird error. I tried to switch my phone to the GSM 900/1800 frequency instead of automatic selection (I needed the battery to stay alive a little longer than usual). When I clicked the top-right "OK"-button it stated a message saying the selected ringtone file is damaged or missing. It suggested I selected another ringtone. The problem is that this error occurs with EVERY ringtone I can select. I never use the ringtone, I only use the vibration to signal me of incoming calls/messages, so I don't really care about the ringtone. Did anyone have this problem before? Could it perhaps be fixed, or should I flash my phone (it still runs the shipped T-Mobile ROM)
Guest drowe Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 I ran into a similar issue with ringtones. After a bunch of searching I found someone said it was caused by moving the ringtones to my storage. I had just used memmaid to do that. As soon as I had memmaid move them back, all was good again!
Guest bf69 Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Thanx for the reply! I didn't touch my ringtone-files however, I don't even know where to look for them. So this is not the issue on my phone...
