Guest jonboyuk Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 When I play songs in WMPlayer, they like to skip once in a while and the screen says "buffering". It's really annoying!! It happens much more when I'm running it in the background and GPS at the same time (ie when I'm driving I listen to music/gps thru bluetooth in my car). If I used pocket player 4 it never skips, even with GPS (but I only have it on trial and want to make WM work properly). It's clearly down to the priority WM takes with the processor so, are there any programs in which I can provide WM with say high priority of the processor while it's open to prevent the skipping? Thanks Jon
Guest Darren XVI Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I have this problem aswell, but I use the HTC Audio Manager. Sometimes when I walk with my phone in my pocket with the headphones connected, the songs seem to stop/skip/lag. I thought it was that the headphone socket had a loose connection but its not that. Maybe it is a ROM based problem?
Guest jonboyuk Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Well I found that this happens with both Windows Media Player and AudioManager. PocketPlayer 4.1 by default has processor priority on high and it never ever skips. It's just not free either and I'd like to use Windows Media Player!
