I am running the 1917 version of it and that is way better than the version 1 that was ported to omnia.

I too would love this. asked earlier about it, and everyone told me it was impossible. don't know why since it IS 2D and not 3D, if i remember it correctly.

i have a wqvga version of it, but the search screen is corrupted, not fixeed for the resolution, by the way it works fine, any idea, to get the htc popup menu style in m2d?

by the way search it in the htc mega section on XDA :)

I am using FingerMenu to get the HTC style menus. It works throughout the OS and it also comes with a message box ap that makes them a bit more finger friendly. Got it somewhere on XDA.

Oh, and could you post the cab for it so we can have a play?

Wow this has just got to be ported to the omnia.. its looking great and the closest to tocuhflo3d as we can get ;p

it has a wqvga option but one version earlier no flipping or weather

Sector ported this a while back. Here is a .rar with everything you need (incl M2DC). Be sure to install M2D last!

New build is out, but needs to be non-htc patched for it to work correctly.

yeah, it should work coz its m2d, and if it dont use opengl driver whch omnia lacks, then itl be sickk n run perfect..

all it needs is to ported from qvga to wqvga...

maybe the thread should title request so that it comes to someone who can helps attention..

I didn't see anything there about a NON-HTC Patch. The only thing there is the v1.20 version hexed .exe, which does not have the stuff needed for the new M2D 2.0 interface. M2D v2.0 has not worked on the omnia yet, it's only 1.2 with a v2.0 skin.

In the post above sector told gianton that it is v2 and not the old v1.

I think sectors the main man for this, hope he ports this for us.

That is the patched v1.2 exe with the files from v2.0. It's the complete skin from v2, but the exe from v1.2 so that it will run. There has not been a cracked version release that I know of.

The only reason it matters, is that while 2.0 will run, with the new skin, you don't get the weather (already tried it :) )

So in other words its going to be near impossible to get this new version to run on non-htc devices, aka omnia's

No, it just takes 1 gifted individual to hex edit the Manila2d.exe so that it doesn't check to see if the device is a HTC unit. I took my shot at it and failed. I may give it another shot at some point.
