I used to use this but I found it to memory intensive. I hope he is still working on this so that the newer version would use less memory.

It works well on the Omnia, but it takes a little tweaking.

For one, it seems the Omnia can't handle the animation at the default rate so I had to lower it by about half. Also the themes seemed suited for a different resolution, I had to change all the resolutions for the gloss theme so the thumbnails look right and everything. At least the program makes it easy since you can edit the themes from within the program itself.

Sure.

Here is a before and after, I just did fixed the gloss theme. Dump the .xml file into TaskFacade\Themes\Gloss. Also go into the system settings and lower the animation setting, I think 3 works pretty well.

Where'd you get that version? I don't have the nice finger-friendly menus, and I downloaded from your link. I have the old, small WM menus.

It it because I'm on WM6.1 and you're running 6.5? Or did you get a newer version of TaskFacade somewhere?

The menu size is because he is running 6.5. My issue is I can't get into that menu. Where is it?

Edit: Wait, Just found out how. Now to update the xml files.

Basically, yes. Although some early builds of WM6.5 still had the small menus... I'm using a build with small menus, but I installed a theme intended for the newest releases and it gave me the big icons. This is kind of risky though, since the theme is suited for another version it might mess up all your themes and force your to hard reset.

For those trying to access the menu, just tap on an empty part of the screen, it will bring up the context menu which would normally appear in the bottom bar (if you told TaskFacade to not hide the taskbar).

You've still got a bit of tweaking to do :)

A full port of a theme to the omnia requires adjusting the various frame bounds and thumbnail inset bounds as well. If you do just this, TaskFacade will stretch the frame image to fit the specified size, and place a thumbnail of the screen with the right aspect ratio (no distortion). However, any fancy graphics on the fram image will be distorted. Try the MacOS theme after making these changes and note the little green light on the upper left is now a vertical oval, and the title doesn't center in the stretched titlebar area.

To fix this you have to edit the png images for the frames in the theme. It's a simple process, but is not as simple as just rescaling the image from 240x320 to 240x400 (portrait example). You have to cut, move, copy, and paste portions of the image to extend it.

Here's what the MacOS theme looks like with all the necessary changes. I'm not done porting it yet, as I still need to adjust the other frames that show up rarely (closed, etc.), as well as all the landscape versions. When I have it fully ported, I'll post it.

I couldn't figure out what all the parameters did, so I just fixed the obvious stuff. It's not like I ported this to the Omnia or anything, wouldn't have even posted it if someone hadn't asked... so yeah, sorry it's not totally tweaked out.

No need to apologize and get defensive... I wasn't criticizing you, I was trying to help!

Okay gang, here are the 4 themes shipped with TaskFacade completely ported to the Omnia screen resolution. Both portrait and landscape configs are ported.

Simply unzip into the Themes folder wherever you installed TaskFacade. To activate, either kill and restart TaskFacade, or much easier just switch to a different theme, then back to the one you want.

Enjoy!

Your wm theme looks nice, mind too share?

It's originally intended for the newest builds of WM6.5 with the buttons at the bottom... so if you are using a build with the Start/X buttons on top, it might not work properly.

Can someone fix the bug which only shows an icon and not the whole image of the application?
