Guest Repairman2003 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) In case anybody over here in the i910 thread wants it, I wrote a small program today that disconnects your phone from the internet after nothing accesses the internet for a period of time to save battery: http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket-pc-so...et-application/ And if anybody desires an application I can whip up for them, just ask. If I have a slow day at work I may write it for you. Edited September 8, 2009 by Repairman2003

No, this is under the i910 forum. So it only works for windows mobile. I got lucky with this because Microsoft already implemented a timeout on their connections, so all I had to do was write a GUI to set a few registry keys. I don't know if Symbian has anything similar, never owned a Symbian device.
Guest darcx3 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Very nice! I imagine this will improve battery life quite a bit. I'm gonna give it a try after I load my new rom. Thanks for your work!
