Guest jethrodesign Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Hi, I'm newly trying to get M2D setup and working well. It's almost there. But I noticed something. With the default install (19b AIO), how do you know you have a voice message? I see an icon on the Home tab for 'Missed Calls', and a small icon on the Messages tab for new text messages, but nothing to let you know you have a Voice Mail. Seems to me it should be on the Home tab above the 'Missed Calls' line. Could this be my theme, or is this not default? Can it be put on the Home tab somehow? Would another contact app do this, and would it integrate well into M2D? Thanks!
Guest cmalone Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Hey there, this was a problem for me also with 19b. so much that i went to another setup altogether (titanium), just for the notifications. then i found M2D 2.0. Sector ported it to our Omnia. Voicemail notifications on today screen!! and it will call voicemail with a push. Here is the link: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...anila2d-ver2-0/ Give it a shot. good luck Screenshot: m2d_2.0_voicemail.bmp

I've spent a long time just getting this one close to working, and it would be a bummer to have to scratch it and start over with something that might be really buggy. - Any other solutions? Even a separate app (ie - contacts, dialer, etc.)? Reg edit? THANKS!
Guest cmalone Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 ^ not that i know of. I think if you're stuck on that m2d build, you will have to deal with it. or change. I do remember a notification icon at the top bar. you don't get one?

I do remember a notification icon at the top bar. you don't get one? Hmm, that's frustrating. Such a basic default item for almost any phone I've used. So if I have to upgrade to this 'v.2' of M2D, do I have to uninstall everything I've done, do a hard reset, start from scratch?
Guest shokka9 Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 guys.... i making one of last ROMs....both WM6.1 & WM6.5 I am reworking my M2D package...i have the new one (from sector), and i will open it up and see if i can use the xml for voicemal on today screen and implement it in v19. Personally v19 is most usable & stable. So keep a look out..if i fix it, i will add my M2D package in cab format somewhere here :)
