Programs not appearing on Today screen

You'll have to excuse me for not knowing the more technical or common references. :) A few weeks ago I installed some apps to my Verizon Omnia (910). Afterwards, when I would select start and "Programs," The Today screen would still show, but the word Program was still in the upper left and an X on the upper right. The programs would not show. I deleted those programs and had no problems. I did this again last night ( attempting to use spb weather) and I get the same thing. The problem is, I've deleted spb weather, but it didn't fix the problem. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance and sorry if this doesn't make sense. :)

EDIT: The programs will still show in the alternate menu when I go to "Main Menu" and "Programs."

Did you try doing a couple soft resets, and letting it sit for a minute after starting? Sometimes it just takes a couple minutes to load correctly. It should work fine after that (no more delays).

I tried several soft resets and had left it alone for several minutes after with no luck. A couple hours later, I tried it again and it worked fine. No idea what happened because I hadn't changed a thing. Thanks for the suggestions anyway. :)
