Guest Chris Jenx Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 I use blue tooth audio to listen to music in my car, but I notice some strange things. I haven't tried blue tooth audio with another device as i don't have anything else to test it with. But when listening I notice the pitch of the music change constantly, it seems to buffer too quickly and send slightly more music then reduce the pitch when it buffers back to normal speed. Any one notice this? When playing music wired headphones/speaker its fine. So its defiantly a blue tooth issue. But is it my car radio or my HTC Hero. Anyone else noticed similar results... its just so i know to either replace the car head unit or log a issue with HTC. Cheers, All
Guest CombinedEffort Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Yeah, it kind of a known problem with BT on the Hero - maybe with Android in general: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2807 People there describe it as a tempo change. I've noticed it the last couple of days, with certain songs sounding 'off-key'. HTH, Rich.
Guest TylerDurdenK Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 I have noticed this "Tempo Change" issue in my car, when listening to My Hero via Bluetooth Audio. Very strange indeed, as it effects the first 10 seconds or so of each track, then settles down. Is there a fix on the way?

Guest keefsloan Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Thank goodness it isn't just me!! I've had this problem for months and, as I use BT streaming at home as well, can confirm that it isn't just localised to in-car audio. I did think that an updated radio ROM would solve the problem but it didn't. Seems a strange issue to have. My Nokias all played BT audio perfectly.
