I was personaly thinking bout to upgrade either to Samsung GT-I8000 Omnia 2 or the Samsung GT-B7610 Omnia Pro (Lourvre) cz i'm just into Windows :) i8910 is not a Windows Mobile... specs of these seem to be almost identical and you can upgrade to an official version of WM6.5 :)

Anywayz here you can compare these 2....: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer&a...96&id2=1830

a note to CPUs: OmniaHD's 600MHz CPU is FASTER than OmniaII's because it is newer generation - ARM Cortex-A8

but omnia hd's OS can also be tweaked to winmo right? i was looking at omnia i8000 specs and the only upgrade i see was the amoled and CPU. its really hard to decide which is which. I am also leaning at HTC touch HD.

both phones have AMOLED screen...the difference is Omnia 2 has resistive (need to press harder but works with nails and pen) and Omnia HD has capacitive (better sensitivity - like iPhone, but works only with fingertips).

to the OS change...I don't know...but I don't think that it will be possible to change symbian for winmo....

Hi,

If you're looking for a lots and lots of smartphone application, you should pick Omnia 2. If not, you should choose i8910 HD.

I8910 HD has a better hardware, its usually easier to change software than to change a hardware. I bought an i8910 HD last week, and I have no regrets. ..at least not yet. Ü

Use a i8910HD for the fishes and a Omnia 2 as a bottle-opener .. Cos they both aren't as good as a HTC HD2 .. shamefull enough ..

and the 8910 aint comparable with a Windows Mobile Phone, .. it has Symbian ... there isn't as much software for available as for a winmo device!
