Calendar and Reminder issue

I've installed MCR 2.2e (thanks Paul!)

When I use the smaller HTC Calendar widget it says "No appointments for today or tomorrow", when actually I have loads.

When I select reminders to appear as Alerts nothing happens - no sound, no message. When I have them appearing on the Notification bar they work fine.

Anyone else getting this? or have a suggestion?

I'm new to Android so not sure where to look
