Guest GeeWiz_Aa Posted September 11, 2009 Report Posted September 11, 2009 I've been searching for a way to add a 1+ prefix to all my calls. This is important in Canada as we need a 1 even if we are on a nation wide plan. (this is an Omnia i910 w/Telus Canada as a carrier) I would have though this to be easy, but I have not found a way to do it. Thanks Aa
Guest Jianfly Posted September 14, 2009 Report Posted September 14, 2009 Er...My friend Claire always received all the calls with +1 before the phone number like +1 (XXX) 555-5555 even it's local call...And if she created a new contact, it would save the +1 before the number. She finally solved this norm. She turned it off in Settings -> Phone -> International Assist. Maybe you can try turn it on(I guess)

Don't have this exact setting, but tried a few things around international dialing. Still didn't work. It's so frustrating to get a call via caller id that does not have the 1, yet when I re-dial them I am forced to have to add a 1. It's actually a lot of key clicks to do this. Plus all my contacts need to have 1s in them. I just can't believe there is no reg setting or something for this problem. thanks
