run the samsung umdl through wine, perhaps?

i'd rather not risk bricking my phone, it's pretty vital to me at the moment.

so does anybody else have any knowledge on this?

i've flashsed my phone before, just back in the days of windows; and i'm unable to boot my current ((s***)) system into windows else i'd just dual it.

I had troubles doing this at the time I used ubuntu, it may have been because I was on jaunty, not intrepid like the guide suggests...
