Expired WM 6.5 Beta, can't connect to Active Sync

Hi Guys,

i installed one of those Betas with expiration data. I understand the problem can be solved by flashing another WM 6.5 (or one with no expiration).

Problem is that Active Sync 4.5 on XP doesn't connect (although it notices the Omnia when connected trhough USB)

any advice? The phone is stuck at "This concludes the best test of this software release..." and I don't know how to trigger the bootloader anyway.

Flashing to a new WM 6.5 rom does not employ the use of ActiveSync, it's done beginning with the phone powered off and once powered on, UMDL detects the device and begins the installation. However, I do not know how you might get any contacts or other information off the phone, perhaps someone else could help with that. I'm also not sure how you would change your USB connection settings from ActiveSync to Mass Storage on the device.

I am new around here and I have been looking for a solution for this problem. When I open my pocket pc (glofiish x 600) I get the same message. And I cannot syncronize with active sync. I have a SD card and I heard that Formatting can be done by a memory card. Please help me my phone is now a brick...
