Weird problem

Hi guys. I have a problem. After installing one of the latest roms on my omnia I lost my DCIM folder in My storage (was there before and I didn't notice at the beginning + I can't create a new one) and then I had /My storage shortcut (it opens My storage but on PC it can't calculate the folder size normally) in My storage folder and I can't delete it. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance :)

I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but to replace your DCIM folder, try launching the camera, check to see that the settings have default storage as My Storage. If the folder isn't created, I would then try taking a picture and saving it.

As for deleting your shortcut, something like Resco file explorer should be able to delete that.

Thanks for the fast reply. I did what you said about DCIM folder and it didn't work but I still can browse through photos in camera (I can't see the folder but camera program can see photos). Putting DCIM folder in My device is working fine by the way.

Maybe someone knows a way to fully format /my storage or at least a rom that will remove everything from /my storage? I tried DZIA5 Firmware but I can't install it because it says that I have newer version of firmware installed already. I cant just delte my storage it gives me an error that access is denied (Be certain that the folder is not write-protected and is not currently in use - I checked all of them).

I found a solution!!!! All I had to do is install any rom (I am not sure because I used 2 roms and I got error in port checking but in the end it worked) but with "Format Device's Internal Large Disc" checked. It fully formated My storage folder and fixed /My storage weird shortcut and my DCIM folder appears correctly now. =)

"Format Device's Internal Large Dick"

I made that typo once, years ago, when running fdisk on a computer in the middle of a high school gym class while the system was outputting to a 36 in. TV.
